We're here to help.
WMC Global has been protecting brands and consumers from fraudulent and malicious messaging for two decades. Established in 2006 by a group of mobile industry veterans who were instrumental in the implementation of SMS interoperability across the US market, WMC Global launched the United States’ first mobile market compliance program that introduced oversight and risk reduction to mobile billing.
A mobile-first cybersecurity company and a long-time partner of Tier 1 and Tier 2 mobile network operators (MNOs), WMC Global’s mission to safeguard brands and their customers from malicious digital activity has led to the development of innovative solutions that adapt to and address emerging threats in the digital landscape. WMC Global’s complementary Trusted Messaging and Antiphishing product portfolios are at the forefront of fighting malicious text messages, eradicating phishing attacks, stopping cyber criminals from targeting brands and governments, and monitoring consumer experiences for industry compliance—together, providing valuable risk management insights for brands into the partners with which they choose to do business. WMC Global helps brands scale in response to mobile threats by providing its partners with proprietary data feeds of phishing attacks (including intelligence from active phishing kits), threat incident response, automated partner due diligence, consumer and brand spam reporting, and customer experience monitoring.
RISQ Score is an automated know your customer (KYC) due diligence platform designed to evaluate the value an entity or messaging partner offers and the risk it poses to the mobile ecosystem. WMC Global provides entities with RISQ Scores based on a variety of factors—ranging from reviewing TCPA and fraud court cases to telecommunications compliance history and consumer complaints to established business practices — to develop a holistic view of an entity’s corporate and stakeholder history and assign a score based on that value and risk assessment.
To run 10DLC A2P messaging in the US, message senders partner upstream with aggregators or content providers to obtain a vetting assessment through one of The Campaign Registry’s authorized partners, such as WMC Global. RISQ Score provides a rapid pathway to high-volume, MNO-approved messaging access—by submitting your RISQ Score, a throughput rate is assigned directly by the MNO.
CSPs should ideally apply for a RISQ Score upon registration as a business with The Campaign Registry or prior to submitting campaigns for vetting for lower-level throughput. RISQ Scores only apply to campaigns launched after a score is received. Early vetting will guarantee your campaigns receive the maximum level of throughput possible.
The easiest way is to select WMC Global from the drop-down menu in The Campaign Registry portal.
Alternately, manually import the vets into TCR’s platform here. Finally, if you have a high volume of vets and are interested in bulk discounts, you can use our API to drive business automation.

RISQ Scores are automatically distributed to customers within a few minutes of form submission.
RISQ Score issues a score between 1 and 100 based upon the determined value an entity offers to the mobile ecosystem. A higher score indicates higher value and lower risk and earns the participant access to higher messaging throughput through the mobile network operators (MNOs). WMC Global partners with MNOs to determine acceptable messaging throughput rates based on numeric score value.
RISQ Score provides a score that is representative of the business entity during a snapshot in time. If your client is a recently formed business, they will have little documented corporate or compliance history to contribute to a RISQ Score. Because of this, their score may be lower than a company that has been in business for several years and holds an established record as a valued and trustworthy message sender. This may limit their messaging throughput initially until their business is more established. Rest assured, you may request a score at any time—all our data points are updated regularly to ensure message senders receive scores that reflect their present value and risk.
If you believe your business’ score to be inaccurate, please reach out to us to open a formal score dispute. To initiate a dispute with WMC Global, a message sender, or content service provider (CSP) operating on the message sender’s behalf must provide the affected business’ FEIN, Valid Corporate registration, and any additional evidence or documentation to support legal claims that may have affected the overall score. We accept a wide variety of supporting documentation to help with disputes in score. The decisions issued by WMC Global through RISQ Score are based solely on verifiable facts. WMC Global does not modify scores based on any commercial relationship and has no political affiliation. After the initial dispute, if you still believe the score does not reflect the business’ value to the mobile ecosystem, you can ask for an escalation. WMC Global will work closely with the CSP to examine any remaining issues. In most cases of extended dispute, the original scores become final.
There is no immediate way to improve a client’s RISQ Score. We recommend CSPs advise their clients to follow industry messaging principles and best practices, such as those laid out by the CTIA, and MNO requirements. If you believe there is an error in your client’s RISQ Score, you are free to initiate a score dispute.

WMC Global typically delivers a dispute decision within two business days of receiving the filing. Occasionally, if a case requires additional research, results will be delivered in five business days.
WMC Global cannot change a score upon request. As a due diligence vetting partner, WMC Global upholds strict integrity throughout its RISQ Score and associated dispute resolution processes. A client must raise a formal dispute, after which they may receive a new score based on evidence presented. If the evidence raised is insufficient, the score stands as originally reported.
